I’m into what I call the saggy middle. Yes, I’ve planned and plotted, but when I get to the middle of the book, it never fails—I don’t like what I plotted, and I slog along. I’m still slogging… sigh.

I just couldn’t decide who to choose as recurring characters in Book 8. So, I left it blank in my plot outline and… inspiration hit. Remember Finlay and Drake from Shadowed...

The first act of Book 8 is shaping up and I think you’re going to have a lot of fun with the new characters, Quinn and Greyson. Yes, Greyson is back in his own adventure. 

I’m partial to Mustangs, but I wanted a distinctive, heavier muscle car for one particular bad guy, so I went with the 2023 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Sports car enthusiasts, any other suggestions?

I’ve spent many summers camping in the Rocky Mountains. I thought it would be fun to set part of Book 8 in the Colorado Rockies since it’s part of the southern extension of the same mountain range.

Poor Book 8! I didn’t get a minute to work on it. I’ve been bogged down with my homework for John Truby. I’m soooo close to having the plot outline’s pesky plot holes fixed in the book I'm writing in his class!

You remember that gift store clothes rack at the hospital in Shadowed Designs? Well, the nursing home has one exactly like it. I like to support their effort, but I’ve stuck to the pen and jewelry offerings. 

I had something else planned for Shadowed Designs, but Olivia and Josh had other ideas… and I just kept writing. I think you’re going to love this one! 

What a week! I’m a hardcore plotter, but when I come up with something as I write, I go with it. That great idea slowed me down this week, but I’m so close to sharing Shadowed Designs with you. 

The book has been the hardest one to write so far. The twists and turns are driving me crazy, but I know you’ll love them. 

Olivia made her first appearance in Shadowed Obsession (Book 1).  Her introduction took a sentence, and her debut in Shadowed Intentions was already in the back of my mind. Now, she has her own book. 

The action is ramping up in Shadowed Designs as I’m finishing the last act. You won’t see this twist coming! (Spoiler Alert: Olivia and Josh don’t.)  

I was stuck on a tricky plot twist last week, but one walk later, I cracked it. This twist is going to blow your mind - Olivia and Josh have NO idea what's coming!
